SAMPLE PERSONAL STATEMENT |

Serving the people of America and defending the principles of
democracy has always been my dream, and for me, the US Army is the
best sample of honor, discipline, and glory. I passionately love my
motherland; therefore I am determined to defend it, ensure its
significance on the international political and economic arena, and
struggle for implementing the principles which are dear to the heart
of every devoted citizen of our great state - those of equity of
rights and democracy. For that, I need to undergo significant moral
and physical training.
Having already started my career in the US army, I am now aiming at
promotion, that is - want to become an officer. And it is not because
of the perquisites that this position may bring to me: I really want
to do something for my motherland and its people, and being an officer
will empower me to do that. Apart from that, I want to secure good and
effective conditions for the privates, establishing and maintaining
good relations with them as an officer. A good officer may stimulate
the soldiers so that they are more efficient for the military, and
that is what I am going to do. Possessing good administrative and
leadership skills, and being loyal and sincere, I believe I will find
a common language with my subordinates.
So why do I want to become a US Army officer? I firmly believe that I
can introduce certain values into the US Army, maintain the spirit of
the soldiers, develop the military culture, and thus make our great
country benefit in all ways possible. Thus, I am willing to be
admitted into the ranks of the USA Army.
